The EK501 electric knife from GRAEF cuts through frozen food like butter. Whether bread or roasts, pineapple, melons or even frozen pies - everything becomes as soft as butter in front of the EK501 electric knife.
With two interchangeable knife sets, the EK501 effortlessly cuts everything that comes in front of its stainless steel blade into even slices. This means the roast is still warm when it is served and frozen food defrosts more quickly. The appliance shines with its timeless design and the combination of chic exterior and strong interior that is typical of GRAEF products.
Despite its powerful 150 W output, the appliance's motor operates quietly and with low vibration. It drives two different pairs of blades: one with a professional serrated edge for all occasions and one specially for frozen food.
The blades can be changed safely with the help of a practical release button and a special finger guard.
The handling of the EK501 is also as uncomplicated as it is safe. The pairs of blades only move as long as the safety button integrated into the handle is held down.
Another clever detail: After cutting, you can stand the electric knife upright so that the work surface stays clean. The blades themselves are also easy to clean as they are dishwasher-safe.
Das Elektromesser zerteilt ohne Mühe alles in gleichmäßige Scheiben. Ich schneide damit vorwiegend Brot, aber auch weiche Torte oder Tiefgefrorerenes konnte ich damit schon zersägen. Super einfach zu händeln und leicht zu verstauen. Die Klingen spüle ich per Hand, sie sind aber wohl auch spülmaschinenfest. Das möchte ich aber nicht riskieren.
